NuverseBrand identity
2021

Nuverse, established by ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, serves as an online game development and publishing brand catering to a global community of billions of players and developers.

The Nuverse symbol, available in both 2-D and 3-D versions, embodies a chain of interconnected sphere-like forms, symbolising two players immersed in a game. These players converge to unveil the letters 'n' and 'v' alongside the bold, italic Nuverse wordmark, presented in English and Chinese. The dynamic symbol and wordmark exude a subtle playfulness that evokes the nostalgia of traditional gaming.

The animated 'Player Story' sequences depict the interconnectedness of all players engaging at any given moment, resembling a mesmerising flock of starlings. This underscores the collective gaming experience and reinforces the concept of numerous individuals uniting to craft something truly poetic.
