Curated by Paul Gravett, the exhibition showcases prominent creators, characters, magazines, graphic novels, and multimedia, while also delving into the creative processes behind their production.
The graphic system, inspired by comic panels, weaves a narrative of the history of comics in Asia, accommodating content in multiple languages and guiding visitors through the various showcases and topics in the exhibition.
Architect William Russel designed a versatile framework that enables the traveling exhibition to adapt to a wide range of venues. The framework is covered with a series of exhibition-purpose paper materials featuring printed exhibition graphics, creating tunnels that envelop visitors in an engaging comic book experience.
