The brand's identity revolves around the concept of resolution, where each component adapts to its environment, mirroring the process of training large visual and language data models.
The Graphcore wordmark is designed using the specially designed brand's typeface, Graphcore Quantized. This typeface is inspired by Caslon's Egyptian, the first commercially available sans-serif typeface. It includes more than 65 alternate characters with different resolutions. These glyphs automatically change as they are typed, guaranteeing a distinct yet uniform result every time.
The shapes and glyphs not only enhance Graphcore's content but also serve as illustrative tools within the system. Additionally, a shape generator has been developed to enable the internal team to create infinite series of diverse patterns that can be used in branded content, presentations, and more.
